Collection of data when visiting this site (log files)

Every access to our homepage and every retrieval of a file stored on the website is logged in a so-called log file. Among other things, the storage serves IT system-related purposes to ensure the smooth and secure operation of the server. Logged are: IP address of the requesting computer, name of the requested file, date and time of the request, amount of data transferred, message about successful request, web browser and requesting domain as well as information about the requesting operating system. Data that serve to uniquely identify a person are not collected or stored unless you provide them to us personally and with your consent, e.g. by e-mail. In that case, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a as the legal basis.


The legal basis for the automated collection of the data is our legitimate interest or that of third parties according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f of the GDPR, unless the protection of personal data based on fundamental rights and freedoms prevails.

Storage duration and deletion

The personal data will only be stored as long as the purpose or a legal obligation exists. In the case of automatically collected data, this occurs in part when the session ends (closing or leaving the website) and in others, such as log files, after 1 month. In general, we will delete data immediately after the end of the legal retention periods.

Right of access (Art. 15 DS-GVO)

Right to object (Art. 21 DS-GVO)

This also applies to profiling / tracking. In that case (unless compelling reasons worthy of protection prevail), the controller no longer processes this data.
